PERSONALITY: Dom grew up most of his life optimistic, despite growing up in a poor family. He really didn't have anything to look forward to when he was little, but had siblings to spent time with. Growing up he learned how to be charismatic and kind until he was diagnosed with his illness of tuberculosis, in which he became depressed and angry at life knowing he was going to die. It was only after he was sired that he started to do all of the things he wanted and took everything life had to offer. He became greedy and a bit selfish during his immortal lifespan, jumping around from city to city and enjoying the things that came with each new life and career. He took lovers (both live and undead), falling in love a half a dozen times before moving on to greater things. It was only at the start of the 20th century that Dom started to calm down a bit. He changed his ways, trying to live the life of a 'civil' vampire and letting his animalistic nature die down with the soulless part of his existence. He sought out peace and went as far as to try to bribe a witch to give him a soul (which he was denied of). Dom tries to live his own unlife on his own terms, despite his tendency to sway to the good side. Few have seen his blood rage since those who see are usually the ones who are killed.

HISTORY: Domenico was born in 1895 to an failure of an artist and a house wife trying to raise three children while her husband attempted to sell his poor pieces of art that nobody wished to buy. The family lived in Florence, Italy -- with their generations before them having lived there as well. Italy was still trying to stand strong ever since the merger of the cities itself, seeing how before it had been divided up in separate states. The Rizzo family did not live in the wealthy parts of Venice or the Papal State, therefore they were simply left with a small house hold with only a decent amount of food to feel them all. In 1899, the Rizzo family moved to Turin in order for Domenico's father to start work at the new factory that was built at the start of the expansion that was sweeping Western Europe. The job did not last long for the Rizzos which prompted them to take necessary actions in order to keep their family alive and healthy. In 1915 the family decided to emigrate over to America (Domenico being 20 at the time) but would be held back with Domenico suddenly fell ill and was diagnosed with tuberculosis. In a effort to save their remaining two children the family left Domenico in the care of the hospital - knowing that he would die since his illness was declared terminal.

Before the illness could take Domenico's life he was sired by an unknown vampire, who had decided to unexpectedly feed on Dom's nearly lifeless body, only to stop upon discovering that he was ill. Whatever prompted the vampire to give him immortality still remains unknown as Domenico awoke with a strange sense of power and his illness gone. It did not take him long to realize what he was and instead of taking it as a curse he decided to use this chance to live his immortality to the fullest. It didn't take long for Dom to take control of his new body and decided to enlist in the army in a way to show off his new talents. By 1917 Domenico enlisted under the alias "Dom" and became a soldier for the Italian army, not even a year passing before he was forced into the disastrous battle of Caporetto with the Italians having to do battle with the entire Austrian army and seven divisions of German troops which forced the Italians to retreat after losing 30,000 soldiers. It was the biggest upset for Domenico's country and even without a soul he felt the grief of losing so many good friends and men.

The war came to an end in 1918 and Domenico took his leave from Europe, taking his earnings as a soldier and moving across the sea to take residence in the new world known as America. He lived there for years, even going through The Great Depression when 1930 came around the corner. Domenico was attempting his hand at becoming a musician, having spent his lonely years learning how to play instruments of the string family, finding the violin his particular favorite at the time. He volunteered in musical groups and orchestras, using this as his cover since he was lucky enough to have joined groups that only played at night events. When World War II came around in the 1940s he used this time to cure his blood lust. He enlisted as a soldier once again and caught up with fellow vampires Eddie Toloni and Joseph Kurtz.

In 1974 Domenico legally changed his name to Dominic Rizzo, finding it better fitted for his new life in California. He took up residence in Los Angeles, deciding the follow the trend of music and start a career in singing rather than playing music. Influenced by the progressive rock artists such as Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Genesis and Yes, he took up spots in late night clubs and sang to small crowds. While his voice was good, he did not have the necessarily talent to further his career and ditched his idea of singing before the start of the 1980s.

The demonic half of Dominic would find its rise at the start of the 1990s. Suddenly at lost with what to do with his life he turned to his darker half and allowed his attributes as a vampire to kick in. He murdered humans up and down the states, the news blaming it on animal killings when it was in fact his doing. He found the thrill of killing exciting, using this new wicked nature to join up with vampires who also shared this love of slaughtering humans. The newly found evil would only quench Dominic's thirst for a little while as he soon came to realize the monster he was becoming. The sudden urge to become a savage died away as he turned neutral almost over night. He stopped his travels along the east coast and took up residence in Albany, New York.

As of 2029 Dominic has been living in Seattle, Washington. He makes a living playing his guitar at local bars and clubs, being paid the minimum for any solo artist who decides to share his music with tiny crowds.
